We want to figure out how to get a manager involved not only earlier but also more easily. Avoiding the cliche of 'let me go get a manager'. This button would enable sales to request a turnover (TO) from a manager in regard to a customer checked in, right from the field or their desk. The notification would go to managers, and an icon would appear on the current check in'd customers list, signifying a turnover is needed. This would need to come in maybe like a lead, as the urgency needs to be greater than a typical notification, maybe even noting how long it's been since the request was submitted. This button will streamline getting a manager involved earlier and could avoid those TO's done as the customer is already leaving. Maybe there could be a field for notes relating to what the TO is about, or where they are at. Maybe sales could tag (@) a specific manager in the notes field. Ultimately this will ensure that if a customer is itching to leave, sales can hit a button, and a sales manager will know a TO is needed much more organically and potentially earlier than before.
