Currently, you can only enter notes from a call into the CRM once the call is finished. I think it's beneficial to be able to add and adjust call notes DURING a call, not after. Details may get missed if they're to be entered post-call. I know this may help keep notes focused and concise, but I feel you miss a lot of customer relationship-based details when we have to remember the information in order to note it, rather than note it as we go through a conversation.
