I’ve noticed an issue with how vehicle data is populating in our email templates and would like to request a fix/enhancement. Feature Request: Ensure Current Vehicle Populates in Email Templates Issue: When generating emails, the system pulls older customer vehicles into the template instead of their current one. Example: For one customer, the template for an auto email for service reminder populated their previous Ford Fiesta, which they traded in for an Escape in 2020. The email should have referenced the Escape as their current vehicle. Impact: Causes inaccurate and confusing communication with customers Makes our outreach look out-of-date or uninformed Requires manual checks/edits, which is time-consuming and prone to error Requested Enhancement: Update the logic used in email templates so that only the customer’s current/active vehicle is pulled in by default. If multiple vehicles exist, prioritize the most recently purchased/active vehicle rather than any traded-in or archived units.
