Feature Requests

Back dating a sold
I wanted to share an experience I had this morning and suggest a feature that I think would be extremely beneficial for dealerships using DriveCentric. A duplicate lead came in for a customer who was already marked as Sold but had not yet been Delivered. When I merged/killed the duplicate lead, it unexpectedly removed the sold status as well. Unfortunately, when I went back to mark the deal as sold again, the system automatically used today's date (August 1) instead of allowing me to keep the original sale date of July 31. Because this happened on the first day of a new month, we were unable to accurately reflect that the vehicle was sold on July 31. For many dealerships, month-end sales reporting is critical, and not being able to backdate a legitimate sale could result in inaccurate reporting or lost credit for a deal that was actually sold the previous month. I've worked with several other CRM platforms that allow managers or users with the appropriate permissions to edit or backdate the sold date when necessary. Having a permission-based feature like this in DriveCentric would be incredibly valuable and would help prevent situations like the one we experienced today. Would DriveCentric consider adding this as a future enhancement? I believe it would be a great addition for dealerships, especially when handling duplicate leads or correcting legitimate data-entry issues around month-end. Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion. I appreciate everything your team does and look forward to hearing your thoughts.
