Add different levels of Data Access specifically for the Mining Tool

Hello,
Currently, to Mine the whole database, the user needs to have "Store" access in the "Data Access" category. This "Store" access is linked to seeing all leads in the lead bucket currently on the clock, all unanswered messages, and all showroom activity. (the tiles in the left sidebar)
This Mining tool access is crucial for a salesperson to find somebody looking for an opportunity to work and cultivate deals from the store's database. However, it is not necessary to see the unanswered messages of the whole store.
Can we separate the more access to mining the database from the other permissions it grants? Make mining access its own category when granting permissions.
Thanks! Hope this makes sense to others as well.

Feature Request: The ability for sales agents to see the entire customer database in Mining but not be forced to have full store data access which causes them to see everyone's text messages.

Add different data access levels when sharing Mining Segments

Creating buckets is a great way to help salesmen manage their pipeline in a streamlined way. It's also a great way to hold them accountable when they say they called all their leads. I do NOT want to share personal pipelines with the entire store. It just encourages salesmen to target each other's pipeline. What I'd like to do is create a bucket, share it with just the salesman and their manager. I also want this for managers to focus their day. MTD missed appts, MTD proposals not sold, etc. I don't want the salesmen to have easy access to those buckets, or my other store. Just the managers they apply to. Please make mining segments shareable to specific people instead of the entire store.

Ability to create mining folder for different individuals

As a manager, I would like to ability to create mining folders for certain people. Currently the only option is to share the entire folder with my store or privately with myself.

Hiya Anna Kazimer, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you please elaborate on the specific permissions you would like these individual mining folders to have?
- What kind of data do you expect to store in these individual mining folders?
- How do you envision the process of assigning these folders to individuals?

The permissions are fine right now, but I want a BDC agent or sales advisor to work on a specific list of clients that I've tailored specifically to them and do not want the entire dealership to have access to it. In terms of sharing I would be nice for it to have similar assigning features like a lead has

I agree, this is a much needed feature. Current workarounds (changing permissions) are not ideal for this because of everything else that comes along with it.
One the one hand, I don't see any issue with salespeople being able to perform follow up actions on deals they aren't assigned to. I'd rather know about it, being documented in CRM than finding out later they just did it anyway outside of the CRM and there's no record of it in CRM.
Mining needs to be opened up for salespeople to find and follow up with customers that aren't assigned to them, without having to fundamentally change their entire pipeline and sidebar.

Stephanie Jacobs Thank you for the feature request! I am going to move this one to Gathering Feedback to see what other users think about this request! Thank you again and have a great day!

Great to hear your perspective, Stephanie Jacobs! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how you envision the process of sharing a bucket with specific people?
- What kind of permissions should the salesmen and their managers have when a bucket is shared with them?
- Are there any specific scenarios where you would want to restrict the visibility of these shared buckets even further?
