Feature Requests

We should be able to insert a vehicle of interest token into our automated emails and email templates without having to manually add them back in. We also should have a way of providing a list of recommended vehicles based on what it is in inventory automatically. Eleads, VinSolutions, and Dealersocket have this ability.

In inventory search, ability to sort by passenger capacity. ie 5 passenger, 7 passenger, 8 passenger

When looking at the Inventort Tool and seeing the first image that loads for the vehicle, we would like to show the images from our Inventory Provider instead of showing the stock photos of the vehicles.

Create a way to save a specific search when looking at inventory. Makes it a lot easier when you have to keep going back and forth

Would it be possible to add a tab for notes under each piece of inventory? This way we could leave a note if we notice it is low on gas, damage found on it, etc. Would be a huge help and time saver!

Getting an alert that a vehicle sold for every customer currently interested in that specific vehicle.

I would like the ability for us to be able to have what our inventory file says for vehicle details such as transmission type, override the VIN decoder as that can be wrong at times in these cases.

could it be possible in the future to add a spot for fuel type in the inventory search bar to make searching more efficient?

As a Canadian dealer, our vehicles are in km. However, Genius responds to our customers that our vehicles are in miles. In our inventory hosted on Drive, it even shows it in miles. How can we get our inventory to show in kilometers and have Genius respond in kilometers? There's a huge difference in this!

When desking a deal or building a customer profile and adding the vehicle of interest, have the inventory scrubbed to make sure there isn't an identical unit that has been in stock longer. The point would be to always sell the oldest inventory first. This gets missed and will be easier to miss as inventories are growing bigger than they've been in years. There should be multiple layers of notifications so that the sales associate doesn't ignore the alert out of laziness. Another alert should be present when first desking the deal to get the sales manager's attention. There may be something unique about that unit like wheels/tires or any other aftermarket add ons that would make it different than another unit with an identical window sticker/invoice and then the alert can and should be ignored. Once the deal has been made and is being pushed to DMS there should be a final alert to make sure we don't want to sell the older unit and maybe show how long both have been in stock. The goal is to turn all inventory as quickly as possible and not let anything age past a certain point. This could be an immensely helpful feature when it comes to inventory management.
