Feature Requests

In the legacy Desking tool, there was a convenient feature that allowed users to pull appraisal data directly from integrated third-party appraisal tools. This functionality appears to be missing in the New Desking experience. We would like to request that this feature be reinstated in the New Desking workflow. Currently, we use VinCue, but this request is broadly applicable to any dealership utilizing third-party appraisal integrations. While we understand that appraisal data can still be accessed via the customer card, having to switch screens adds unnecessary steps to a process that was previously seamless. Restoring this feature within the New Desking interface would significantly improve workflow efficiency and user experience, ensuring that appraisal data is readily available during deal structuring without additional navigation. Would like the templates to be able to be selected when sending a proposal

You should have quick links in desking to connect to the dealers website, carfax, pull invoices, and to SmartVincent(Ford). It makes working deals so much faster.

We'd like to have the ability to show the Optional Accessories that are available for the vehicle at the bottom of the Desking Worksheet for customers to see what Accessories are available to add in if they choose to do so.

Please add both customers to the proposal instead of only listing one person.

Legacy desking offered a variety of options for the proposal layouts. Would love to see that feature in new desking. Also a notification to the salesperson that the proposal had been written. Maybe an option to share the proposal with the salesperson.

We would like to see a breakdown of what is adding up to give us our Front and Back Gross on the deal. In the Legacy Tool, we would see what all adds into the Front Gross: Vehicle Profile, Accessories Profit, Trade Profit and Dealer/Manual Cash. In New Desking, you only see Front Gross as a total amount and can't easily see where the gross is coming from to give you that total. You only see Front End, Back End, and Dealer/Manual Cash. This would be helpful to quickly identify where the majority of the gross is being held, and can make smart decisions on what to discount to make the deal happen.

As a dealer, I want the ability to lock the cost line in New Desking settings so that it cannot be edited by a user.

We would like the ability to toggle taxes off for a deal without having to put "0" into the different rate lines. Just an on/off toggle that would either apply the tax rates we have set, or completely remove taxes from the desk.

I am writing to request two enhancements to our desk quote printing functionality. Firstly, we need to display the complete customer information, including their address, when printing a desk quote. This will ensure that we have a comprehensive record of the customer's details, which will be beneficial for future reference and auditing purposes. Secondly, we would like to have the name of the sales manager associated with the desk quote printed on the quote itself. This will help us to easily identify the sales manager responsible for the quote and ensure accountability. The current absence of a customer address that matches the customer's ID may pose a problem in the future if our deals are audited for any reason. Therefore, it is crucial that we address this issue to maintain data integrity and compliance. Thank you for considering our request.
