Feature Requests

allow to edit video text message 'footer'
Hey Jonathan! I confirmed with the team that this message is intended functionality that is hard coded and cannot be changed. The reason for this is it helps with deliverability. Being able to change this message or remove it completely would make an excellent feature request. You can add a feature request using the megaphone icon in the bottom left of DriveCentric and other users can upvote it! what I don't understand is that none of my other colleagues here have that message at the end of their text. So my question is: Why me? Profile image for Kathleen I would be happy to investigate this. Would one of your colleagues be able to send you a screenshot of what their's looks like and send it in to us? does not make sense I'll send it to you here in just a moment. Profile image for Kathleen Ok, Thank you! This is from Quincy Rice. his ring central/drive centric phone number is 217-373-2734 Profile image for Kathleen I do see in the video text the "Hope to hear from you" message okay, so now I have figured out that when I send just a text w out a video link, that the "hope to hear from you soon " does not appear when sending a text to myself but DOES appear when it is a video text message. So this still doesn't make sense. Profile image for Kathleen Correct! This will be current functionality of the system to include that message with every video text that is sent. and it can't be changed or removed? Profile image for Kathleen That is correct. It cannot be changed or removed at this time. wonderful...... Profile image for Kathleen I would recommend putting in a feature request for this! 1:04 pm Just now.

Video Uploads Not Working Properly
I have recently been trying to upload videos to DriveCentric on the mobile app, and unless it's specifically being sent directly from my device to a multimedia text message, the upload always fails. My assumption is that I am uploading videos over a certain length or size limit. Each video that I have recorded is around 2~3 minutes in length and the file size strays into the 200~300 MB range. They are simple walkaround videos demonstrating the basic features of vehicles that clients have shown interest in. Presently, it is unclear what my file size limit is, and so my assumption is that I have time to record brief demonstration videos as necessary. However, if I send the videos to a textable phone number, the system doesn't mind the size of the video file. What I have tried: Uploading a local file on my phone to an email address Uploading a local file on my phone to DriveCentric's Video Library Uploading a video to an email address or textable phone number using the in-app recording option What I have not tried: Recording slightly shorter videos Expected Result: The video sends to the client directly or uploads to the DriveCentric video library properly Feedback telling me before the upload finishes that my file is too large to upload Actual Result: Using any option for video files outside of uploading the file directly from my phone to text has a 100% failure rate Device used to record and upload these files: Samsung Galaxy A54, running Android version 14, One UI version 6.1 DriveCentric version 7.62.0 Would love clarification on this issue, and if there's something that can be done to mitigate the failed video uploads. Thank you!
