Why not let customers know I sent an email?

On outgoing email opt-in, can we add "I just sent you an email?" Emails get caught in Junk/Spam files ... sometimes they never see them, without letting them know. FJ Lawrence/Frank Leta

- How would you like the notification to be sent to the customer (e.g., SMS, push notification, etc.)?
- Should the notification include any specific details from the email, or just a generic message?
- Is there a preferred time delay between sending the email and notifying the customer?
