Hi there!!! It would be extremely helpful if we could import lists or CSV files into the CRM. GM has several different manifest each month and it would be beneficial and give us a way to track that the follow up in indeed being done. Think about it, please. Thank you!

We need to be able to upload special lists as campaigns, such as manufacturer manifests so that we can do bulk emailing and call campaigns and keep all the records in our CRM

This is the 1st CRM I've used in 30 years that does not have a way to import prospecting lists to set up marketing campaigns with lead source for tracking. What do we need to do to get this option?

Hey ALEX COOKE, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific fields or data points are essential for you when importing prospecting lists?
- How frequently do you anticipate needing to import prospecting lists into the CRM?
- Are there any specific file formats or data sources you currently use for prospecting lists that we should support?

Service BDC Manager speaking here. If we could upload recall manifest lists, OC Private Offer lists, and data mined lists out of our DMS. Then create tasks for Service BDC Agents for customers on this list it would streamline the data management process 1000%. Not only data management but also reports to track activity and appointment creation.

Agreed, this would be a great feature to be able to easily import new customer lists in the case that we get an entirely new list of 200+ customers.

Yes! We host test drive events and collect leads in our own form (ease of collection and liability waiver all-in-one) and it would be ideal to import these.

I cannot believe this is not a feature yet. This is basic CRM functionality IMHO. Let's go, Drive Developers. It's a simple import list feature .CSV

This would be very helpful, especially during a buy/sell like we just had. We got customers lists from the OEM that we uploaded into our DMS but were unable to load them easily into Drivecentric. There are also service lists that are important for a service BDC from the OEMs that would be great to track follow up in Drivecentric.

Previous Lead / Customer Import

It would be awesome if we could import a CSV list of customer data to the system. We have many sales people who come to us with their own lists of customer that they would like to manage in the system but have no way to add them bulk.
We also have many subprime reps who we purchase leads for that never got sent into a CRM and we are trying to get them into the platform now.
It would be cool if they would go into a seperate filter than the store leads but required the importing salesperson/manager to set a task or something and update the notes for each one as they are added to the system.
Could setup a que type list and they need this this and this and then a search to merge before they are fully put into the crm. But leave those steps to whoever the assigned sales person is.

Thank you for posting, Ben Borlase! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on the specific data fields you would like to import from the CSV file?
- What kind of tasks or updates do you envision the salesperson/manager setting for each imported lead?
- Could you elaborate on the 'que type list' and the steps you mentioned for merging the imported leads into the CRM?

Hey no worries,
- So the details could be as much as what you have in your customer card already or as little as first, last name and phone number. But the leads that we buy typically have first name, last name, phone number, email, address, dob, and sometimes some employer info like yearly salary and what not.
- We would want to have each customer as up to date as possible so there would need a way to see all the customers that were added in an upload. Then another way to be able to go in to each and update the notes and setup any future touchpoints or appointment. This could be done as we're uploading the csv or after (but we would need to have a way to filter customers by the specific upload so it would be easy to update each customer). Mailchimp for example does this really well as you add a customer list to the system. We can upload a customer list then map what column goes where ie: column a = first name, column b = last name, column c = phone number and so on.
- This kinda is the same as 2 where we/you would just want to be sure that the uploaded data was clean and accurate so any duplicates would be caught and that each customer was up to date with notes and tasks. Very similar to the process of adding a new customer in the top right.
This would be a big help to our subprime departments. Thanks,
