Tracking when Salesperson was assigned to a deal.

We're trying to keep an eye on amount of leads that get distributed from our BDC to the salespeople. I'm currently limited to having a mining list for MTD internet deals with BDC added and salesperson 1 "has any value". I'd really love to also have a combined total with all leads that were passed out this month. BDC frequently works deals from previous months are those are not being counted in the distribution to Sales. Happy to schedule a call for more details.

Let me be clear that I think this should just be a filter option. getting it added to Mining would be fine, but i think it should also be available in the custom reporting to streamline reviews.
- I currently have a mining list and manually count them. I filter by (BDC is each user's name) (Deal created date- this month) (Salesperson- has any value) (Source type - ILM/Campaign) then sort by the salesperson's name and count them.
- Date Salesperson assigned = all the regular filter options in mining.
- I just need a general count of how many leads each salesperson received each month regardless of when the deal was actually created.
