Thumbs up or ok button

When we leave notes for each other in the CRM there isn't a way to acknowledge that we saw it. Currently, the only way is to add another note that could end up buries or at the very least clogs up the account with unnecessary chats. A simple button to click to acknowledge receipt of the note will be helpful for clarity and accountability while keeping the message board clean and concise.

Thanks for sharing this, ryan grover — totally hear you on how adding an extra note just to acknowledge receipt can clutter the timeline. This is really helpful context, and I’m looping it into our review so the team can evaluate the best way to support a simple “acknowledge/seen” action while keeping the message board clean. If you’re open to it, a quick example of how your team uses notes today (and what an ideal acknowledgement would look like) would help us make sure we’re solving the right problem.

Shelby Parker, currently we @ the person the note is for. The person receiving the message will respond with info if needed by @ing the person who wrote the original note. Sharing relevant info in public is great but if my BDC rep just wants to let me know she talked to "Bob" and the result of that convo, currently, I post another note saying "ok" or "Thanks" or some similar acknowledgement. A simple thumbs up button or maybe even preset "quick notes" to respond with, like an ok, thank you, yes, no or even a button that responds with lol might go a long way to cleaning up the timeline and saving time and confusion over "did they see my note before he texted Mr. Jones" situations.
Does that help?
