Recent changes that only allow attachments to be available for 10 days is too short. We work deals with customers for 30, 60, 90+ days. It is necessary to look at previous spec sheets, pricing, and other attachments as the deal progresses. We need access to these documents for longer.

After careful review, inbound attachment accessibility was updated to 30 days after receipt and outbound attachment accessibility was updated to 365 after send. We take a conservative approach to data security to protect our dealers and our dealer's customers. Attachment expiration is just one of the many best practices we have implemented as part of our continued, and overall, security efforts.

Brandon Lowe Thank you for the feature request! We recently released an update to this to retain attachments longer in the CRM. Incoming Text and Email attachments from Customers will remain in the CRM for 30 days. Outbound Text and Email attachments to Customers will remain for 12 months. Are you seeing something different on your side? Thank you!

Yes information was needed for a payoff an I could no longer get that info as the pic was gone...

Hello Brandon Lowe! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more context on how the current photo deletion policy is affecting your usage of the chat feature?
- Are there specific instances where having the photos saved in the chat for longer than 10 days would have been beneficial?
- Would you find value in a feature that allows you to choose how long photos are saved in the chat?

At least give me a way to recover the files if they are gone. i understand the data protection side of things, but this is just not helpful. Give us a back up file or something!!

Completely discourages the usage of text messages & emails with attachments for tracking purposes within the CRM.

10 days is way too short. Why was there no notice? This is DriveCentric forcing its users to go outside of the CRM to communicate and retain critical deal-making data.
