Store visit - lead pause

Pause salespersons lead if they have an in store visit. Encourages them to touch desk to check out to regain leads.

HI Shelby, stop new lead assignments while there is a client checked into store either appt or showroom visit. Occasionally we see clients leave without a TO so having the salesperson have to touch the desk to check the client out is an extra fail sale because they know they arent getting a new lead unless they do it! So the manager would be checking them out. Hope that clarifies enough...

Thanks for sharing this idea, Ryan DeToro — I can see how pausing leads during an in-store visit could reinforce the right workflow. To make sure we’re picturing it the same way, can you clarify what “pause leads” should do in practice (stop new lead assignments vs. lock/hide existing leads, etc.)? Also, what should qualify as an “in-store visit” to trigger the pause (a check-in/appointment, a specific status/activity change, or any visit logged in the CRM)? And when they “touch desk to check out,” what’s the exact action you have in mind — and should leads resume immediately after that, after manager approval, or based on a timer?
