"Starts With" filter option for Mining

I would like to request a "Starts With" option for the customer name in mining. We have someone going through and mining our customers to get them back in the store. This has had some success, but because our list is 143000 long it takes 45 min to scroll down. A "Starts With" filter option could shave this down to mere minutes and allow more efficient tracking of their place in the list. The last "Starts With" option request appears to have closed.
