It would be great if we could have a final disposition on a customer other than Dead/Delivered. These are still leads that impact monthly reports. Many dealers also compensate Sales/BDC based on these.
We cannot mark them sold because they did not buy, but we did complete a business transaction with these people. They should not be getting marked dead.

Great to hear your perspective, Donnie Walker! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific criteria should be used to categorize a lead as a 'completed business transaction' without marking it as sold?
- How do you currently track and report these types of transactions, and what challenges are you facing with the current system?
- What impact do these transactions have on your monthly reports and compensation structures, and how would you like to see this reflected in the CRM?

- Any time we complete a transaction that does not end with a "Sold" Vehicle. Typically, this would come in the form of a street purchase. Other dealers may have other ways of using such a disposition of leads
- Since we are unable to track this information in the CRM, we keep it on a spreadsheet. The challenge being that we have to pull up data from another program to compile the data.
- For our reports, we have to put both sold and purchased data on an separate report from the CRM. For compensation, we have to rely on the data being recorded on our spreadsheet. If we purchase a vehicle, and the BDC rep was off that day, the customer gets marked to lost, then it may be forgotten about. Our BDC Specialists may be missing out on a purchased unit that they should have been compensated for.
Any sort of disposition that would show up on a report as "Purchased Unit" or "Non Sales Transaction" would be great.
