Showroom Check-in to disable Genius
Holly Pritchard
Our dealership feels a showroom visit check-in should qualify as a reason to stop Genius from continuing to reach out. We have had clients in our showroom actively working with a salesperson on a number of occasions receive a message from our Genius that says something to the tune of, "Happy anniversary in your (vehicle they're actively trading), let us know if you need anything"... our opinion is that makes us look like our "sales assistant" doesn't know what's going on.

Thanks for raising this, Holly Pritchard — totally hear you on how awkward that can feel when a customer is in the showroom with a salesperson and still gets an automated Genius message. This context is really helpful. I’m sharing it with the team so we can review whether a showroom check-in should pause/stop Genius outreach, and we’ll follow up if we need any additional details from your side.
