Would be very helpful to be able to assign tasks to salespeople from the deal mining screen and it assign them as the salesperson. Permissions are not customizable enough.

Thanks for raising this, Hillary Fields — totally hear you on the workflow friction and the limits of the current permissions. To make sure we’re aiming at the right behavior, could you clarify a couple things: when you assign a task from the deal mining screen, should the deal’s “salesperson” always update to match the task assignee, or only in specific cases? Also, which roles/users should be able to assign tasks there (and effectively set/change the salesperson), and who should be restricted? Lastly, what’s the main goal you’re trying to achieve with this—faster lead routing, cleaner ownership for follow-up, reporting accuracy, or something else?
