Check in should only become active after a roadmap activity

I think the goal here is to force roadmap use and get good data, right Shane Conely? I wonder if it would be better the opposite way - allow check in always (so that as soon as a guest has arrived it can be clicked), but then build roadmap into the checkout and require selections each time before you can actually check someone out.
Allows people to be properly checked in before a presentation/demo, if it's a be-back appointment then you get to log it properly each time someone comes in, and ultimately guarantees better data as it has to be filled out (perhaps a button for "No Steps Completed" so that you don't have someone clicking random steps just so they can check someone out.
Some stores do manager only checkouts, some don't. Either way it makes sure you get proper roadmap data. Thoughts?

Great to hear your perspective, Shane Conely! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific criteria should trigger the activation of the check-in after a roadmap activity?
- Are there any exceptions or special cases where the check-in should be active without a preceding roadmap activity?
- How do you envision the user experience changing with this new check-in activation process?

Shelby Parker 1) Demo checked in roadmap should allow the checkin to become active.
2) Exceptions should be based with the managers in case we need to check them in.
3) The user experice will allow for real time coaching in steps to the sale I.E knowing where we are losing customers.
4) This will also help in performance reporting.
