It would be nice for the road to sale check list be in the deal profile so we do not have to go to another screen to complete it, Would also be a great idea to be part of the check out process instead and the deal is unable to be checked out until a manager or someone with access to do so completes the road to the sale.

Yeah, the mandatory roadmap/road to sale completion before you can check someone out would be amazing, will get you much better data.
Instead of having to click roadmap and selecting options and then checkout, you could have the options appear at the bottom of the checkout note box. If someone is a be-back/had multiple appointments you would already have things checked off in roadmap, but this way would allow you to log what you did each time they come in. Include a box for "No steps" or something if you didn't do any new roadmap steps so that you can force a checkout to have a box selected so you don't get people randomly clicking something just to make it go away.

Thanks for sharing this, Chris Schott — totally hear you on the extra steps of having to jump to another screen just to complete the Road to Sale checklist.
