For example, when trying to send a text opt-in and the system identifies the number to be a landline, the text task should be automatically deleted. Same with customers who have opted-out, the text task should be deleted.

We are excited to announce that as of this morning, existing Text Tasks will become expired automatically and future Text Tasks will no longer be assigned when a customer has opted-out of texting or when the customer's number has been determined to be a landline!

When a customer has opt'd out of text or is using a land line we continue to get tasks that cannot be completed, and we waste a lot of time of managers going back in to delete these tasks. Can we please do something about this?

Texting task for non text enabled phones/landlines

When the only phone line given is not text enabled, instead of having to delete the text task, and get dinged, it would be nice if it would be able to automatically register that or if there were a way to dismiss it with a note. Then it doesn't just look like the BDC is trying to get rid of tasks.

Or if they opt out of texting, for example, the text task should be removed. My other leads are getting lost in the excess. I've got daily text tasks, listed individually on my workplan, on multiple customers who I cannot text because they said stop.

100% agree.

Excellent. We don't allow sales to delete their own tasks. but it becomes a hassle when they get email tasks after an email address has been marked invalid and deleted by the system

This is a BIG ONE amongst my whole sales staff!

Yeah, I completely agree with this one. Especially when the task is split off as an "Email, Text, or Video" and a separate solo task for a Phone Call to the same customer, all you have for contact info is a Landline number and no email address.
