Redistribute w/ Task or Auto Task

When Redistributing Customers it would be awesome to do so while sending an auto email (template) to the customer introducing themselves and letting them know that they're there for any of their needs, wants, etc.

Really appreciate you sharing this, Sean McConkey — totally get how an intro email during redistribution would make the handoff feel a lot smoother. Quick couple questions so we can scope it the right way: who should the email appear to come from (the newly assigned owner vs a team/dept vs the dealership generally)? Should it fire on every redistribution, or only in certain scenarios (like only when the owner actually changes, or for specific customer types)? And should it send automatically as part of the redistribution action itself, or only when a related task/auto-task is created?

Shelby Parker Thanks, yes it should come from the new sales rep that gets the redistribution. It should have a toggle incase you don’t want to send a email/task. I think having the option to make it an auto task or a manual task would be best. We used to have this with VinSolutions and it was great. 😊 Thanks!
