Pull different lines in inventory feed for Inventory and Desking values

We need the ability to use a different value in the Inventory Pricing Feed for desking to account for Dealer fees and adds that are are shown in the Inventory price but are added in the proposal when desking.

Thanks for posting this, Paul Tamkin — totally hear you on needing desking to reflect dealer fees/adds differently than what’s shown in the inventory price. To make sure we’re scoping the right solution, can you clarify a couple things: which exact value/field you’d want desking to pull from instead of the current Inventory Pricing Feed value (e.g., base price, MSRP, invoice, or another field in your feed)? In your ideal workflow, should the inventory price displayed to shoppers/users stay the same as it is today, with only the desking/proposal math using the alternate value? And should that alternate desking value apply across all vehicles, or only for certain stores/vehicles (if so, what’s the rule that determines when it kicks in)?

Shelby Parker Hi! Thanks for your response. I just spoke with DealerCue who is updating their feed to all sites with our Doc Fee included in the retail price field that everyone is using now. It probably won't happen for 48-72 hrs to get out there. Once that is in place I can connect you and their support to come up with a field that they can export and you can use for desking. The desking value will be the Public displayed value less our Doc fee. Once that is set up and you can get that value for the desking tool, we are good to go. Until then the desk will do a manual calculation on each deal so we don't double dip the Doc fee in the proposal. I hope I am explaining it correctly...

Shelby Parker It will be for all vehicles..new and used. Keep using the current feed for now
