Pop Up Notifications via the CRM

I would like to have a feature where I can see my customers interacting with myself or the salesperson attached to the file. I think we can respond a lot faster to emails and texts if it would pop up on our screen instead of me having to exit out of my current tasks to see if anyone has tried to contact me.

Desktop Notifications for Received Texts/Emails

When texts and emails are received, the chime goes off but there is no actual desktop notification like there is when I get a new lead. Please add true desktop notifications as a feature for texts and emails received.
I am looking to increase my response time to customers. We are paid on how fast we respond. As a BDC I only use the desktop version of DriveCentric. If I am in the middle of an email or searching on our website for a vehicle, it is really frustrating to have to close out and see if the chime was MY customer responding or someone else's customer.

Its actually not! I asked a rep about it. It SHOWS like there is the option for desktop notifications but I am not able to select that option. When I asked about it, I was told the desktop notifications were the message alerts on the side bar which is not what I am looking for.

Jennifer Bell Thank you for the feature request! This is already possible! If you go to your initials in the top right corner and go to My Settings, you'll see Notifications and you can enable Desktop Notifications for Received Text Message and Received Email Message. These notifications will come from Google Chrome so make sure to allow notifications in your browser! Thank you again and let us know if you need anything else!

Thank you for posting, Jennifer Bell! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you clarify if you would like the desktop notifications to be visible at all times or only when the DriveCentric application is open?
- Would you find it helpful if the notifications included a preview of the message or just an alert that a new message has arrived?
- Are there any other types of notifications you would find useful in addition to texts and emails?

Also if a manager responds, they have had conversations back and forth and change my follows.

Brianna Nieves - you are able to set up Google Chrome notifications that will give you Desktop notifications for specific Notifications in DriveCentric! You can access these settings via My Settings by clicking on your initials top-right and then navigating to Notifications and enabling specific Desktop notifications.
