It would be helpful to have an additional section on the side bar where we could pin certain customers that have "pending" needs such as updates on vehicles and such.

Yes please and thank you! The Hot status is really not that helpful, we look at the list of hundreds of peoples names all day long and cannot see the notes in the rows. A sidebar list that is visible and has the notes or task details visible also is what you need to add in. Once again it’s the flaw in your system, for people who are constantly looking at lists of names, and your program does not make multitasking and looking at the customers details or needs quick and easy while we’re doing 400 other things all day long!

Hey Austin Brown - thank you so much for the feedback! As Amanda noted, we do already have the 'Hot' indicator so that you can quickly access the "most important" customers in your Pipeline and in your ownership in the CRM. You can do this by clicking the "flame" button at the top of the Customer Card to do this. You can then filter by Hot customers either via the Pipeline or via the Mining tool.

In the mean time, some of our sales reps use the "hot" lead fire symbol to that effect. So those customers are an easy find in your pipeline.
