Permission to Claim Customers

It would be helpful if when claiming a customer from another salesperson, salespeople only had the option to add themselves to the deal as Salesperson 1 or Salesperson 2 rather than having a third option to remove the other salesperson.

We are in progress on adding a new Permission in User Management -> Permissions under the header Customer Change Access titled 'Claim Customer' that will allow (when enabled) or disallow (when disabled) the ability for a user to claim a customer. When the permission is disabled the Claim Customer button will be greyed out for the user. The permission will be enabled for all users by default.
As a note:
- Users with Store Data Access do not need to claim customers to access them and will be unaffected by the disablement of the Permission.
- Users with Team Data Access do not need to claim Team member's customers to access them and will only be affected by the disablement of the Permission if the customer is not associated with a Team member.

salesman should not be able to claim customers. it is like putting one piece of candy in front of 2 kids and walking away. change it. salesman can just claim it back and forth if they don't agree.

Having the OPTION for a store to require Mgr authorization is a much better method. Not all stores work the same.

I think should only be able to add to #2 slot, needs manager to switch to slot 1, only manager to be able to remove

After we remove / rotate lead to a new salesman, the previous salesman who disregarded the lead originally has the ability to claim customer and remove newly assigned salesman off lead. We can not stop this inside of permissions. Only DriveCentric can fix this to stop the skating and help us stay on our store wide process. Please let's get this fixed soon.

Or when someone claims either the entire customer, Sales 1, or Sales 2, it would be helpful if the notification title says what position they took on the customer profile without having to open the notification.
