Other Sales Professionals should NOT be able to take a Sales Professional off of Leads.

There are Sales "Professionals" that know how to "game the system." They, somehow, have the ability to close-out Leads, and take-over before the original Sales Professional can do anything about it. I'm still new to this system; and, don't know all the tricks; but, some people that have the experience and ill-intent can take advantage of this system.
Example: A Sales Manager can assign a Lead to one of his/her Sales Professionals. Yet, somehow, another Sales "Professional" can steal the Lead, and take the ACTUAL Sales Professional off of the Lead. This needs to stop. It's putting a whole lot of distrust in the DriveCentric system if this type of dishonesty can be allowed without check.
Thank you, for your time. Take care, and stay safe out there.

Thanks for raising this, Yama Sahak — totally understand why that would create distrust if leads can be reassigned or closed out in a way that feels like someone’s gaming the system. To help us pinpoint what’s happening and what the right guardrails should be, can you share: (1) in your ideal setup, which roles should be able to change the assigned Sales Professional on a lead (managers only, the current assignee, certain roles, etc.)? (2) when this “stealing” happens, what exactly changes on the lead — does the assignee/owner switch, does it get marked closed, or both? and (3) are there any valid cases at your store where another Sales Professional should be able to take over (e.g., someone’s out), and if so, what should that handoff process look like from your perspective?
