Notify Salesperson when Garage Vehicle Sold to a Another Customer

This may be a bit of a stretch... if a customer purchases a vehicle and the VIN is already attached to another customer, is there a way to get an alert on the original customers account? Say Joe Smith bought an 18 Equinox back in 2018 and the vehicle is still showing in his garage, then Rita Thompson comes in and buys that 18 Equinox years later (vehicle was never removed from Joe's garage, he sold it back to us or whatever may have happened), can we get an alert on Joe's profile that a new customer has purchased the same vehicle? Will help keep our CRM clean especially with equity mining and picking through old customers.

Would also love to see a trade vehicle pulled from the customer's garage once it is traded in. Since the DMS is communicating the delivery back to the CRM, would be great to see that trade pulled once the deal is delivered.

Thank you for your request! I’ll be moving this over to gather feedback from other users.

Rebecca I had the same concern. My request has been submitted to remove the vehicle from the customer’s garage completely when they trade it in.

Kerry Yeager yea sometimes it does it automatically and other times we have to manually remove it

Hiya Rebecca Karr, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What kind of alert would you find most useful for this situation (e.g., email, in-app notification, etc.)?
- Would you like the alert to be triggered only when the vehicle is sold to a new customer, or also when it is attached to a new customer's profile in any other way?
- Would you find it useful to have an option to manually confirm or reject the alert before the vehicle is removed from the original customer's garage?

Shelby Parker a notification would be nice or a task alert to bdc agent or assigned rep who manages the CRM would work too.. The sold alert would be sufficient and manually done
