Notification Sidebar - Nesting Notifications for Each Customer

As a BDC I think it's great we get the conversation notifications for the customer to stay on top of the customer interaction with everyone. But it clogs up my notifications feed and I'm missing vital notifications due to the plethora of conversation notifications between sales and the customer. Can we please nest each customer so that there is only one notification per customer and we aren't receiving one for every message sent? I end up with like 10 notifications or more for the same customer in a row and it muddles up what I actually need to focus on.

This would be a huge time saver - reducing clicks anywhere increases productivity.
I noticed today after a few days off that I missed ~20 notifications for the same customer. I don't want to "clear all" because I'll miss some other customer notifications, but I can't efficiently work through my notifications without going through and clicking to dismiss each one for the customer (who has been attended to by others on my team).
If a user views the most recent notification for a customer, then all notifications for said customer should clear from the panel. Thanks!

The notification bar doesn't work as efficiency as it could. Right now I can come into any where from 100 to 250 notification if I had the day off prior. It takes a lot of time to go through all of those and make sure I don't miss any messages. At the moment their are MANY duplicate notifications for the same costumer - Every single reply deems a notification, if they open my email, notification. Its just not efficient. So here is my idea, Make the notification bar more costumer card based, and notification for each costumer are found under the costumers name so its more organized & once a new notification comes in that specific costumer card notification goes to the top. sometimes I can have 15+ notifications for the same person scattered through 100 notifications. It just takes up way too much time & deems me potentially missing sales opportunity's!

Hey Meghan Smith, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how you would like the notifications to be nested? For example, would you like all notifications from the same customer to be grouped together?
- Are there specific types of notifications that you find more important than others? If so, what are they?
- Would you find it helpful if there was a way to prioritize or filter notifications?

Shelby Parker Yes grouping all notifications for a customer would be helpful, additionally viewing the last notification should clear out all prior notifications instead of having to clear them one by one.
If you would like to further sort them that may be helpful! But honestly grouping all notifications for each customer and the clearing of the notifications would be a huge improvement in my book!
Some days I walk into over a 100 notifications and it could be from a handful of customers, but I can't clear all of the notifications as it clears out the 1-5 random notifications that I actually need! I don't need a separate notification for every time Tommy boy responded to a message, and it wasn't me he was responding to. But because I have 20 separate notifications from Tommy I missed the one tag from my manager that was actually important.
I'm really good about checking my notifications etc. and I still miss things from time to time due to the abundance of repeat notifications for the same customers.
