If someone has a day off or on vacation the tasks should be paused (by Management) until they return. This way when everyone else on the team completes their task then the team will read 100% complete. When they return then the clock should reset to the date they return.

Thanks for raising this, Eric Brennan — totally get how a vacation status can create workflow friction. To make sure we’re aiming for the right behavior, a couple quick clarifiers: when someone’s marked as out, what should happen to their tasks (pause due dates, reassign, or just add a flag/note)? Should this impact only tasks already assigned to them, tasks created while they’re away, or both? And when they’re back, would you expect tasks to pick up with the original due dates, have due dates pushed out, or require a manual review/restart?
