When a driver's license is scanned without a middle name, "NONE" is automatically added to the Middle name field. During credit pushes, this causes an error with provider if not caught before processing. Please code the field to be left blank, instead.

When scanning the license and the customer does not have a middle name can the system stop putting NONE in, it messes up with the credit app if it's not caught beforehand.

Thank you for posting, Ronald Polanco! I have a few more questions for you:
- How often does this issue occur when scanning licenses without a middle name?
- Are there any specific fields in the credit application that are affected by the 'NONE' entry?
- Would you prefer the system to leave the middle name field blank or have another default entry when no middle name is present?

Shelby Parker Every time there is no middle name it puts NONE in the middle name field. The credit app would show NONE as their middle name. If there is no middle name just leave it blank.

Hiya Jake Hales (Gee Corporate), thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about the error message received when 'NONE' is entered in the Middle Name field during credit pushes?
- Are there any specific scenarios where this issue is more prevalent?
- Are there any other fields where you've noticed similar issues when left blank?

Shelby Parker 1. This occurs during the mobile device scan of the driver's license. 2. I have examples in OR driver's licenses--it could be that in the DLQR some kind of [None] entry is noted for DMV, and that could be importing to the middle name field. 3. No, this is a unique reporting case to that field.
