We would like to have the ability to add custom proposal disclaimers/disclosures in Desking to our proposal. This would allow us to change our disclaimer/disclosure as needed.

Today, we released an update to the Desking tool that allows you to add a custom Disclosure to the bottom of the Default Proposal in New Desking! Thanks for your feedback!

We're in the process of adding this to New Desking! Soon, you'll be able to set up a Disclosure in Desking Settings that will appear at the bottom of every proposal.

ability to put a note at the bottom of a quote in case there are some extra things we need to disclose in writing to the customer.

Great to hear your perspective, Brendan O'Reilly! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide examples of the types of disclosures you need to add to the quotes?
- How often do you need to add these notes to your quotes?
- Do you need the ability to customize these notes for each quote or would a standard note suffice?

Please make this happen. We need to update ours from time to time based on different product offerings on our new vehicles. As I understand it, the disclaimer now is hardcoded and requires a bit of work from the coding team. Sure would be easier if it were a setting admins could update thru the store or desking settings.

Great to hear your perspective, J.R. WILLETT! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide examples of the types of disclaimers/disclosures you would like to add?
- How frequently do you anticipate needing to change these disclaimers/disclosures?
- Are there any specific legal or regulatory requirements that these disclaimers/disclosures need to meet?

the admin fee disclosure is a legal disclosure that is required on preliminary documents of any kind where a sale price is computed on the document. The print has to be Boldfaced, capitalized, underlined, or otherwise conspicuously set out from the surrounding written material. There are more regulatory disclosures that will be required as of July 2024 that are specifically referenced in the up and coming CARS rule that the FTC recently announced the other day. Anywhere where payments and soft ads are discussed require additional disclosures regarding total cost of purchase amounts and soft product ad ons not being mandatory. I would encourage your whole team to look into the CARS rule that was announced and let’s figure out a way to get these disclosures added. They are not optional

the admin fee disclosure must be as follows
“AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE IS NOT AN OFFICIAL FEE AND IS NOT REQUIRED BY LAW BUT MAY BE CHARGED BY A DEALER. THIS ADMINISTRATIVE FEE MAY RESULT IN A PROFIT TO THE DEALER. NO PORTION OF THIS ADMINISTRATIVE FEE IS FOR THE DRAFTING, PREPARATION, OR COMPLETION OF DOCUMENTS, OR THE PROVIDING OF LEGAL ADVICE. THIS NOTICE IS REQUIRED BY LAW.”
