More options to search

Our previous CRM would allow me to search for just "MY" customers. I could expand that search to include a specific vehicle and my customers as well as city zip. I just tried to search for the last name of Simpson and could not remember the customers first name. I had to go to the filing cabinet to look up a jacket by last name. Not very productive.

Thanks for sharing this, Scott Cross — totally hear you on how disruptive that is when you’re trying to find someone quickly. A couple quick clarifiers so we can make sure we’re targeting the right improvements: when you say searching just “MY” customers, what does “MY” mean in your workflow (assigned to you, customers you’ve worked, your store/rooftop, etc.)? Also, where in DriveCentric were you running the search (global search vs. a specific list/page), and what happened when you searched only “Simpson” — did it return no results, too many, or something else? Lastly, which search combos matter most day-to-day (last name only, last name + vehicle, last name + city/ZIP, vehicle + ZIP, etc.), and how would you want results handled when there are multiple matches?
