Thanks for sharing this, Teresa Teshera — great idea, and I can see how having a model code (like 7544 for a Tacoma Off Road Short Bed) would make inventory matching a lot more efficient. A couple quick questions so we scope it the right way: would you want the model code stored just on the Vehicle of Interest in the customer record, or also anywhere else that vehicle shows up (leads/opportunities, etc.)? And in your day-to-day, how should it help with matching—more for filtering/searching inventory, auto-suggested matches, reporting, or something else? Lastly, do you ever need to track multiple model codes per customer (multiple vehicles of interest), and should the code be able to differ by year/trim for the same model?
