Mobile - Ability to Limit Access to Photos on iOS

At this time, the mobile app requires full access to photos/videos with iPhone in order to send saved photos. When using Limited Access and providing permission for specific photos, the system gives an error. Would like the option to provide the system limited access to send certain photos.

In DriveCentric App iOS version 8.91. (2), which was just released, when launching the app, a prompt will display that allows you to change your access from full to limited. If you choose limited, you will be prompted to select the photos/videos you wish to share each time you add an attachment to an email or text.

We are adding full support for iOS 14+ Limited Photo Library Access, allowing users to share only specific photos instead of their entire library.

It's 01/15/2026. With the newest app update on IOS, my team and I are no longer able to limit DriveCentric's access to our photo libraries on IOS. This will severely impact team's usage as most reasonable people want to safeguard their personal photos as much as possible. Sending this request again as I have not heard anything back in over two weeks.

I still have not gotten any kind of update on this. I put this request in on 12/29 and it is now 01/13 (since you guys don't want to advertise how long it takes you to tell your clients to go f themselves when they request a reasonable feature update!)

I would like an update on this please.

Anthony Kitchin Thank you for the feature request. We are not planning to add this enhancement at this time. We are focusing on other mobile features and enhancements. Thank you again and have a great day!

Shawn Goebel In a previous version of the IOS app, users were able to give access to select photos, now I have to give DriveCentric access to thousands of personal photos and videos.
When away from a PC, the only way to re-send a quote to someone is to screenshot it from the customer card in the mobile app and send the screenshot.
Customers often are looking for proof of what a salesperson is saying, a quick google search and a screenshot of those results is a quick way to build trust.
In the age of AI editing, photos and videos of one's family can be used in sick ways. Security and privacy is a concern. I don't know the individuals that will be able to access them once I give access to DriveCentric.
Why does DriveCentric all of a sudden NEED full access to my personal photos and videos? Let's just put it back the way it was. At the very least, I want a detailed explanation.
