Merging Duplicates

If at all possible, it would be nice if customers could show up as a possible duplicate if only one item is matching. Ex: email addresses. We have multiple just email leads that has no phone number or name, but have the same email address. We are not able to merge them and are just having to mark the duplicate leads as bad.

Hello EMORY THOMPSON! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific criteria should be used to identify potential duplicate customers beyond just matching email addresses?
- How frequently do you encounter this issue with duplicate leads, and how does it impact your workflow?
- Are there any specific scenarios or examples where merging duplicates would be particularly beneficial for your team?

- Besides email, I think duplicates should be flagged by just phone numbers.
- We run into duplicate lead issues multiple times a week. Since we can’t merge with just one piece of matching information, we’re forced to kill off the extra leads instead, which not only takes extra time but also reflects poorly on us as a dealership because it looks like we’re mishandling opportunities.
- Without merging, we risk multiple salespeople following up separately, which creates confusion and hurts the customer experience.
