Merge Visibility

Currently merging leads results in much of the extra data being lost off the lead that is combined into the original one, ex. tasks will only stay from the main lead. We would prefer visibility to see all notes/wishlists, vehicles of interest and either push all them over to be deleted after the merge, or allow them all to be individually selected to determine what is left on the merged profile.

Another issue is where the Nickname drops off when you merge. It's a big deal to be able to properly address a customer. The nickname will also often cause a duplicate lead alert, say when a customer puts in a credit app with their legal name.

Thanks for raising this, Courtney Burgess — really helpful context. Totally hear you on how frustrating it is to lose tasks/notes and other related info when merging leads. I’m sharing this with the team so we can review options like showing all associated items (notes/wishlists, vehicles of interest, tasks, etc.) and either carrying them over automatically or letting you choose what stays on the merged record. If you’re able, a quick example of a merge where this happened (or the exact fields that got dropped) would help us dig in faster.
