we currently are not able to manually opt customers in to text messages. New leads I understand, but sometimes I have folks on the phone asking me to text them. Just this morning my customer who was already opted in through our old CRM asked me to text a revised quote, but she is busy at work and hasn't opted in yet. I have it ready to send, but need to move on to other tasks and we are too busy to have to keep going back to things we should be able to send right now after she asked me to text her. If she opts in after I've left for the day she won't get the quote until Saturday when I'm back in. There's many more examples where I need to be able to text people. We get a lot of phone calls in the internet department and I always ask if I can text them, but it cuts back on efficiency if I have to wait for them to respond 'yes' especially if I'm taking the phone call while working with a customer in the showroom.
