Is it possible to search notes by keywords or phrases? can this be made possible, like searching messages on your cell phone.

Seach note section for specific keywords

It would be nice to be able to search the notes section under the green tab for specific key words. Example - Customer wants a 22 Tahoe LT. If I put that in the notes section, it would be nice to have the ability to do an advanced search where I could search that note for specific keywords.

Hello Ashley Kanuszewski! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you anticipate using the keyword search feature in the notes section?
- Are there specific types of keywords or phrases you often need to search for in the notes?
- Would you prefer the search to be case-sensitive or case-insensitive?

One of the CRM's we worked with has a feature that lets you search by a key word in the notes...for example "Tahoe"...it is a great search tool...thanks for listening

Activity history should be searchable for keywords.

Yes this would be incredibly helpful. There are times where I've completely forgotten a customers name from weeks or months ago, who specifically asked me to reach out to them if we got in a certain vehicle. I remember taking notes on the vehicle they wanted, but can't remember their name, so I can't search for them. If I could just type in the keyword for the vehicle, it would be a lot faster and easier

I second this - Customer notes search is actually incredibly beneficial when those fresh trades come in.

It would save a lot of time if we could easily search notes for key words- especially if they are looking for a specific type of vehicle that we may not always have in stock. Once we get it in stock and search for the vehicle in notes-boom! Immediate call list!

Hiya Marc Alary, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on the specific information you are trying to search within the customer history notes?
- Are there any specific filters or search criteria you would like to use when searching notes within customer history?
- How frequently do you need to search notes within customer history and what impact does this have on your workflow?

Shelby Parker I want to find notes specific to a particular deal. Filters are useful but in a previous CRM, I would input a particular detail (for example general model of vehicle with a broad range of years customer is looking for) or detail of deal (example pending decision of accessory after vehicle ordered). For now I pin these types of notes. I would use a search feature like this frequently as a prospecting tool to a freshly available used vehicle or available stock to accessory I was waiting for. I have used reminders but it's becoming time consuming to search reminders. A quick search of key words I choose will save time and be a tool for customer follow up for things that cannot control such as used vehicles and delayed accessories.

It would be helpful to be able to search conversations with specific key words that were sent. Similar to searching conversations on your phone. Thanks!
