Keeping Proposal sheets and Trade info available to view after deal is killed.

It would be super helpful if we could still see the full deal details in the customer card under the dead deal and notes section, such as previous proposals and trade info, without " rescuing" the deal. This would help us in our lost deal mining the management team goes through each deal when marked lost. When clicking on a dead deal under "deals" it does not show enough info or any trade info. When mining dead deals we look at all aspects of the deal including previous compare forms to see how discounts and payments align with customer communications and their possible reason for a lost deal. Thanks!

Zach Roberts, can you help me to better understand? We do not remove Proposals when a deal is marked dead. The Proposal on a dead deal can still be viewed in the Past section of the Activity tab.

Zach Roberts, I just wanted to follow back up and see if we could get additional information as we don't remove Proposals when a deal is marked dead.

I would agree with, Zach. We also mine deals, and the more information accessible from previous deals, the better. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Great to hear your perspective, Zach Roberts! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific information from the proposal sheets and trade info is most critical for your team when reviewing dead deals?
- How frequently does your team engage in lost deal mining, and how does the current system impact this process?
- Are there any specific scenarios or examples where having access to this information would have significantly impacted your decision-making?

Shelby Parker Thanks for getting back to me.
-It would be nice to see the proposal sheet sent out or given to the customer as it is a whole view of the deal and most likely why we lost it.
-We review dead deals daily. Right now to view any numbers or trade info, we need to rescue the deal, then go into the card to view all info we need to mine the deal and see if we can save it or see where we were apart.
-just daily lost deals we review. It would not impact decision making any more than what we do now, It is just as easier workflow to have it all in one spot without having to open up the deal.
Also, When sales people mark a deal dead, then 3 months they come back in, it should be a new deal, but we have to open the other deal to get any info out of it or see how numbers were 3 months ago.
