Improving CRM Search Capabilities with Detailed Filters

Searching by name alone can be really difficult — especially when multiple salespeople are working with customers who share similar or common names. It would be incredibly helpful to have a more advanced search function that allows filtering by key identifiers like salesperson, lead source, lead creation date, and current funnel stage (e.g., new lead, working, test drive scheduled, sold, etc.).
Even being able to cross-reference these filters would speed things up significantly — for example, searching for all leads created in the last 30 days assigned to a specific rep, or quickly pulling up all test-drive-level customers who came in from a particular source like Facebook or CarGurus.
Having this level of search granularity would improve organization, reduce confusion, and make it much easier to follow up effectively without wasting time digging through similar names or incomplete notes.

Hiya Ali Jabbar, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific key identifiers would be most valuable for your team to filter by in the CRM search function?
- How frequently do you anticipate using the cross-referencing feature for search filters?
- Are there any specific scenarios or use cases where the current search limitations have impacted your workflow?
