I am a senior salesman here at Porsche and spend a lot of time creating email templates to use when emailing my customers. I notice that when you create the templates and either save them in the group or a folder they can be viewed and used by everyone. This is a feature that should be changed asap. I have noticed that other sales people will utilize my templates and send them out by the hundreds, by simply changing their name. This should be a private feature limited to the creature. We can also see all the managers templates. Once these templates are blasted out to everyone it limits its power of being personal. sometimes it will even make it go to spam.
Could you please assist asap

I think that the generic ones that are in your system or which was brought over from eleads can be open. However, anything that is created by someone should be private and not able to be viewed by anyone else. I had some of these in a folder and once you put your name on them others want to see what you made and use them. in the other systems I have used all the templates you make are private

Thanks for raising this, George Rakowski — totally hear you on how disruptive it is when templates meant for your own outreach end up being reused by others and lose that “personal” impact (and potentially affect deliverability). We’re sharing this with the team to review options around private vs. shared templates, and we may follow up with a couple quick questions (e.g., where you’re saving them today—group vs. folder—and whether you’d want “private by default” or a per-template visibility setting) so we can make sure we’re solving the right problem.
