Is there a way we can have something showing if the system can tell us if we have ever had contact with a client? Like when you click on a profile?

Charles Beyer, can I get more information on what exactly you would like to see? If there has been two way communication then the customer will at least be in the Engaged stage. This can be seen at the top of a profile and on the Customer Contact Card.
