When we used VinSolutions, we had a report that forecasted our sales for the month based on our daily sales. We could log in at any point in the month and get a general ballpark for how we will close the month out.

I like the idea! I keep reading about it in other industries as well. Especially with the end of the month still closing stronger, there has to be a way to factor that into the prediction.
