Filter out Recent Purchase when Mining Dead Deals

When using Mining to build AIM campaigns or email blasts, there appears to be a limitation when targeting customers with dead deals. Some customers who have a dead deal may also have a delivery record around the same time, meaning they may have ultimately purchased a vehicle.
It would be extremely advantageous to have the ability to filter out customers who have a delivery deal within a specified timeframe of the dead deal. For example, if we are targeting dead deals from the past 12 months, we could exclude anyone who had a vehicle delivered within, say, 30, 60, or 90 days of that dead deal.
Currently, as soon as a delivery deal/date is added to the criteria, it eliminates the dead deals entirely. Ideally, we would be able to use the delivery date as an exclusion filter rather than having it remove the dead-deal criteria altogether.
This would allow us to build much more accurate campaigns and avoid marketing to customers who may have already purchased a vehicle.

Thanks for posting this, Sean McConkey — really helpful context, and I totally see how this would make your Mining-based campaigns a lot more accurate (and avoid messaging folks who already purchased). Good call-out on delivery date acting like an exclusion rather than wiping out the dead-deal criteria. I’m sharing this with the team for review, and we’ll follow up if we need any additional details from your side.
