in the area where we have AI rewrite, we also have translate to spanish option. can we get that option to display responses Back from the customer to english?
Shelby Parker
Hey Ryan Valencia, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you anticipate using the translation feature for customer responses?
- Are there specific scenarios or types of responses where translating back to English is most critical?
- Would you prefer the translation to be automatic or should there be an option to toggle it on and off?

We have the Ai capabilities of translating to Spanish. Wondering if there is a way for the system to have a "translate to English" button if the system detects another language.
Shelby Parker
Hiya Becky Betting, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific languages should the system be able to detect and translate to English?
- Are there any specific contexts or scenarios where the 'translate to English' feature would be most beneficial?
- Would you like the translation feature to be available for all users or only for specific roles within the system?

- Currently we only have a translate to Spanish button, so for now I can imagine Spanish would be a good start. I can't imagine every dealer has someone available full time who speaks it fluently, so to be able to communicate via text or email without having another tab open to translate would be ideal.
- Replies from customers would be the only reason to need it. If someone replies in Spanish, and the system detects it, next to the reply button might be a good spot for translate to English, or at the end of a text message. Parenthesis (Translate to English) is a thought.
- It wouldn't hurt anyone to have so let's just be inclusive and say everyone.

It would be great if when a Spanish speaking customer replied to a text or email in Spanish we could translate that response to English the same way we translate our message to them from English to Spanish. A click of a button.

'See Translation' Option/Button for Conversations

Mark Ibarra
On social media any caption written in a language other than english has a small text link that says 'See Translation' or 'Translate Post'. When clicked it will auto translate the text to english.
When overseeing conversations from sales and bdc reps I'd like to instantly translate conversations to understand the conversation. Right now im copy and pasting the convo to google translate.
See attached.

Hello Mark Ibarra! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you specify the languages you most frequently encounter in these conversations?
- Would you prefer the translation to be automatic or initiated by a user action?
- Are there any specific parts of the conversation (e.g., certain fields or sections) that you would like to have translated first?
Shelby Parker
Great to hear your perspective, Dewayne Fuller! I have a few more questions for you:
- Do you envision this translation feature being used in all communication channels (email, text, etc.) or specific ones?
- Would you like the translation to be automatic or initiated by the user?
- Are there any specific scenarios where this feature would be particularly useful that we should be aware of?

- Text and email primarily.
2 If when you received a reply in Spanish it would automatically translate to English that would be good but I am not apposed to the translation being initiated by the user.
- When I feel it would be the most useful is when responding to the customers texts and emails in a timely fashion.
Thanks for asking.

From Kyle Krebs at Toyota Sunnyvale: My suggestion would be to add a drop down for preferred language in the client profile so the Genius will adjust the language it is attempting to contact the client with.
