Notify the salesperson that a customer has created a duplicate lead through the Notifications/Bell tab. When a duplicate lead comes in, it initially appears in the Leads tab until it is cleared. If the salesperson doesn’t notice it and, for example, the internet manager clears the duplicate by completing a task, the lead will no longer be visible in the Leads tab.
However, if the system generates a notification in the Notifications tab, it will remain there until the salesperson views it—just like any other notification.
