Duplicate leads failing to detect.

When a New lead or a lead comes in from an external site such as Roadster. It will create a New lead without saying possible Duplicate. Makes it seem as people are skating the deal but cant know when it doesn't allow to merge. Very confusing and at times. it will kick you out the deal an place a New sales on the lead.

What should be matching in most cases for me at lease I would have a matching email, and or phone number. The customer usually inquires on a nickname then when someone creates the customer in roadster and roadster talks back to drive centric. The lead would not produce as a duplicate . It would show new lead even if the Number and Email is used on an other account.

Appreciate you flagging this, Sebastian Galaviz — totally hear how confusing (and disruptive) that would be if duplicates aren’t getting called out and you can’t merge. To help us narrow this down: what fields should we be matching on in your process to trigger a “possible duplicate” (phone, email, name, VIN/vehicle, etc.)? Are you seeing it across all new leads, or mostly from specific sources like Roadster? And when a potential duplicate is detected, what would you expect to happen on your end — block the new lead, prompt an immediate merge, or just show a warning while still allowing it to be created?
