Thanks for the suggestion, Trey Thrower — totally get how a one-click “Tax Exempt” option in Desking could make the workflow a lot smoother. To make sure we’re designing it the right way, can you share a bit more context on (1) what scenario you’re trying to support (specific customer types, deal types, etc.), (2) which taxes/charges should be excluded when it’s marked exempt (just sales/use tax, or also local/county/city fees and other tax-like items), and (3) whether it should apply to the whole deal by default or only certain lines—and if it’s the whole deal, should it stick even after recalculations or other changes?
