Decrease the time between mining data updates

The only place for our salespeople to see all of their open deals in one place is in the mining feature, which only updates once daily at midnight. Is it possible to add at least a couple of other updates throughout the day, or preferably, to make the mining feature update in real time?

Love this.

Great to hear your perspective, Adam Miller! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently would you like the data to be updated throughout the day?
- Are there specific times during the day when having updated data is most critical for your sales team?
- Would real-time updates significantly impact your team's workflow or decision-making processes?

Shelby Parker 1. Ideally it would be in real time. Hourly would be an acceptable fallback. 4x daily would be the minimum we'd need to feel confident using the Open Deals filter to drive salesperson accountability.
- The most crucial time would be somewhere in the 3:00-4:00 pm window, and secondarily in the 6:00-7:00 pm window.
- They would DRAMATICALLY impact them. With DriveCentric, the only place that we can see all of the deals currently working (regardless of sales step) is in the Open Deals mining segment modified to EXCLUDE dead and delivered deals - the way the standard open deals filter is set up, including all open deals, somehow results in a lower number...In any event, we track the number of open deals they're working there, and we also track the number of deals WITHOUT FOLLOW UP. When a salesperson's rolling average of deals without follow up gets too high, we remove them from eligibility for web leads until they are able to provide the customers with the responsiveness and customer-centric experience we need them to provide.

Hi Adam! Thanks for the feedback! I wanted address your specific request for a way to track real-time no follow up percent by salesperson:
We can pretty easily set up a custom report for you that shows the real-time number of open deals each salesperson has, and what percent of those don't have planned follow up. Would that help? Here's an example of what that would look like:

Hi Jacob Coleman! So while I would appreciate that custom report, it would have to be made available to SALESPEOPLE. Ultimately, the goal that we're trying to achieve to is to give our sales staff real-time visibility of all of their open deals, regardless of which step in the sales process they're in. While the ability to focus on groups of customers in the same sales step is helpful when taking customer contact actions, our staff needs to see EVERYTHING in order to take full responsibility for their overall workplan, which is integral to the way that we run our store.
